LodeStar is a framework for Organization Design originally created in the 1980s as part of a training program for managers charged with aligning the design of their organizations with changing corporate priorities and strategies, and them implementing the specific organizational change. Constantly updated, it is a cornucopia of best practices, tools, tips, and techniques.
The LodeStar framework offers several advantages over other organization design methodologies currently available in the marketplace:
- It’s agnostic.
- It’s layered. Want an overview? You got it. Want to drill down into a particular topic, drill away.
- It’s interactive. Unclear on a particular topic? Ask a question on that page and check back tomorrow for the answer.
